All of our instructors are carefully screened. We are very selective and only recommend teachers with Master's degrees (or above) and at least 10 years or more teaching experience.

Piano Instructors of Northern Westchester is a teacher member of The Music Development Program and adheres to the RCM (Royal Conservatory) piano curriculum among others.

You as a parent should always know firsthand what your child is expected to work on between lessons. Our instructors use a special assignment journal in which they write detailed assignments and messages to parents.

We hold several student recitals per year at some of Westchester's top performance spaces, including the Budarz Theater, Purchase College and other locations with great pianos.

Piano Instructors of Northern Westchester is an organization founded by pianists to promote music education though piano, and promote methods of proper instruction for beginners. We provide resources for students and parents looking to begin lessons or to those already studying.

Gregg Sulzer is a drummer, composer and piano player. He has been teaching and playing music since graduating from Purchase College with a BFA in Music Composition, after starting out in the Percussion Performance program.
